About Management

Nootan Vidharbha Shikshan Mandal Amravati.

Mahila Mahavidyalaya is working under Nootan Vidarbha Shikshan Mandal, Amravati. Hon’ble Late Dadasaheb Khaparde established this learning platform during the pre independence of India. The aim of establishing this Institute was to motivate students with National ideology. Initially 'New High School Main’ was started in 1924 under this Institute. At the beginning three schools were started. Late Babasaheb Khaparde founded Mahila Mahavidyalaya in 1965 to provide education to women. The existing executive body decided to make radical changes in educational process and the physical facilities. Under the guidance of the executive body of Nootan Vidarbha Shikshan Mandal, Amravati, ‘Shaikshanik Unnati Samiti’ was constituted to implement effective educational process. Through the medium of this ‘Samiti’ all the three schools and the college are imparting knowledge by making harmonious combination of the traditional training method and modern technology. Along with this, all necessary physical facilities are provided to all these educational institutions. This includes Common room for students, Canteen, Audio Visual Hall with Modern Technology for the college programmes, ramp facilities for physically challenged students, completely renovated building, sport ground etc.

This premise has been recognized as the best center for imparting high quality education in the heart of the city. This could be possible because of all the decisions taken by the executive body of the Nootan Vidarbha Shikshan Mandal, Amravati. The society has been working keeping in mind the thought given by the founder Late Dadasaheb Khaparde. The society is giving testimony that the students studying in Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Amravati will get education to make them competent and self dependent.
